The appointment takes around 45 minutes, with the actual procedure taking only around 15 minutes.

The results from the filler are instant, and generally last around 6-12months. Each time you have this done, the results will last longer as long as the initial scaffold of filler is still in place.

It can be a bit uncomfortable however we numb the skin prior to the treatment with numbing cream.

We use a combination of a blunt tipped microcannula to deposit the filler with a small amount of needle work for shaping and the actual filler also contains local anaesthetics.

The result can be seen instantly but there will be swelling!

Lip filler does tend to swell and this can vary significantly person to person. You can be upto 30% more swollen on the day of treatment. This superficial swelling can take around a week and will go down slowly.

Deep tissue swelling is less noticeable aesthetically but can be felt as little lumps and bumps. These will not be lumps of filler but just due temporary due to inflammation and will go down in around 3—4 weeks.

With lip filler, the main concern patients have is not wanting to look ‘fake’ or have ‘duck lips’. The problem is not the filler, but instead could be too much filler quantity, too thick a product, or the personal preference of the patient or the injector!

My specialty is subtle and natural results so I tend to use soft products and generally focus on lip shape over lip size. I like my results to be impactful but not obvious so you will never look ‘fake‘ in my hands!
