The appointment takes around 30 minutes, with the injections taking only 5 minutes.
The results from the botox take a few days to start to show, with full results in 2 weeks. Botox in this area generally lasts around 3-4 months on average, after which time, the muscles simply resume their normal activity.

After assessment, we place small injections into the desired muscles. These are a tiny bit uncomfortable but generally totally fine. No numbing is needed!

There is no downtime whatsoever with botox! You may have small raised blebs on the surface of your skin initially, but these go on their own within 30-60 minutes.
After treatment, we advise you to stay upright for 4-6 hours so that the botox doesn’t move and not to have any facials/ facial massage for at least 2 weeks.
Downturned Mouth Corners
As we age, we can start to develop a droop to our mouth corners which can make us look ‘sad’ and give a more aged appearance. These are caused by our depressor anguli oris muscles, which pull on the corners of the mouth.
If mild, we can place a small amount of neuromodulator into these muscles to reduce the downturn of the mouth corners.
For more moderate to severe cases, we often combine this with filler into our peri-oral lines for best results.
